How soon can I receive my order?
It usually takes 3 business days to process an order. Shipping transit time is in addition to processing time. Based upon your shipping selection, the order can take 1-5 business days from the time it leaves our facility. In the event you require an expedited time table, we offer Rush processing (your order is processed within 1 business day) and upgraded shipping options. Rush processing does not include shipping time in transit or shipping cost. If you would like to place your order but request a future ship date, you may do so. We will hold your order and ship the package at the date you request.
How can I check my order status?
What is the fee for designs with photographs?
Design templates with photographs have a $10 fee applied per design. Product cost is additional.
How do I send my photograph or artwork? Will they be returned? Do I need to edit the photograph prior to sending?
We accept images via e-mail at photo@carsonbars.com as well as through US Mail service. Please include your name and order number when sending your images. Original photographs or artwork will be returned with your order or mailed separately after your order has been processed. Carson can not be responsible for photographs lost in mail transit.
If you send your image through email, we do send a confirmation of receipt. When sending digital images, we prefer receiving them in a jpg format, but will accept TIFF, EPS, or PSD formats. Large photos (11 x 10 or greater) must be at least 72 dpi. Smaller photos require 200 dpi or greater. If available, we prefer to receive artwork in Illustrator format (v 8.0) or in high-resolution art (200 dpi and above). It is not necessary to edit the photograph prior to sending it to us. We prefer uncropped photographs with background area surrounding the person(s). We will position the photograph to fit the wrapper and may make color or contrast enhancements to ensure a fantastic image. Comments regarding your photograph may be sent with your email, mailed or placed in the Special Instructions section of the online order process.

How do I store the chocolates after delivery? What is the shelf life of my chocolates?
If your package is shipped in an insulated cooler, please remove and discard the climate controlled packaging immediately upon receipt. Please verify the contents. You can store the chocolate bar box in a pantry or other cool, dry space. The shelf life of confectionery products is generally one year. Our chocolate inventory is replenished every month.
Can I order wrappers only and wrap the bars at home myself?
Yes, you may order personalized wrappers without the chocolate bars. The wrappers are printed and then shipped with wrapping instructions. For the best results, we recommend the use of a food safe glue stick as your adhesive. Please note, the Hershey's® standard 1.55oz bar is no longer available with a foil wrap from Hershey. When you order the standard wrapped chocolate bar from us, we apply the foil wrap under the personalized wrapper to give you the Classic Hershey's® bar look. If you order 1.55oz standard wrappers only, we will include precut foil sheets with your order to place under the personalized wrapper.
Do you have Assorted Miniatures bar wrapper designs available?
Absolutely! To view Assorted Miniatures bar wrapper designs, simply click on any standard wrapper design you like. Most of our wrappers have a coordinating mini design. Once you are on the product page, you can click on a link to view the design for the miniature bar design. Wrapper designs with photographs are not offered on-line in the mini size.
Can you make changes to the wrapper designs offered?
We often receive requests for changes to our wrapper designs. When possible, we are happy to make adjustments to our designs; however, changes that require a graphic artist may be subject to a nominal art fee. You may also wish to mix for example a wedding wrapper front design with an engagement back design. We can certainly accommodate this request at no extra charge. Can you create a custom designed wrapper or match a theme?
At Carson, we offer our customers the option to create a completely unique or theme related personalized wrapper for a nominal art fee. Do you send a proof of my personalized wrapper prior to production and shipment?
For our standard (template) designs, we do not send a proof due to our exceptionally short processing time. Our creative production team creates your personalized wrapper, verifies a single wrapper print, prints the order and carefully analyzes each individual wrapper. We have very high quality standards to ensure your satisfaction. If you would like to receive a proof on a standard (template) design, a $10 proof charge is applied.
In the event you prefer to order a custom designed wrapper for your special event, uniquely designed by you and our graphic art department, we require your approval prior to production and a proof will be e-mailed, mailed or faxed to you. The proof charge will be included in the art set-up fee.
Can the original foil wrapped 1.55oz Hershey's® bar still be purchased?
In 2003, HERSHEY changed their standard sized bar wrapper. The paper wrapper over silver foil has been replaced by a brown wrapper with crimped ends.
Hershey made this change to ensure quality and to maintain the integrity of the chocolate. Leading the industry of personalized wrapped chocolate announcements, Carson has a machine process that enables us to reproduce the classic Hershey's® bar look. On the standard bar we place the foil over the new Hershey's® bar wrapper.
When ordering 1.55oz standard wrappers only, we include precut foil sheets. If you were unaware of this change prior to your wrapper only order or unable to find a candy bar for your wrapper order, we sell foil wrapped bars with a plain white wrapper. Click here for more information.
